Dr. Siegel was President of the Michigan Dermatologic Society from 2010 to 2011. He is currently a consultant for Amgen and Abbvie, and on the speakers’ bureaus for Amgen, Abbvie, Janssen, Novartis, and Celgene. Dr. Siegel has served as a PI for Amgen, Biogen, Genentech, Galderma, and 3M. He is a consulting dermatologist at Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland.
Jason C. Evans, MS, PA-C is a Dermatology Physician Assistant with 20 years of clinical experience. Having exclusively worked in dermatology his entire career, he has mastered many skills of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. His passions include the most up-to-date treatments of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
Mr. Evans completed his medical training at Wayne State University where he received his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies. His career as a Dermatology Physician Assistant began in the exclusive community of Rochester Hills, Michigan working closely with Lisa Meils, MD. Over the past eleven years he has had the honor to work under the guidance of the distinguished Dermatologist, Michael Siegel, MD in Waterford, Michigan. As one of the only psoriasis and atopic dermatitis treatment centers of Detroit, Mr. Evans strives to provide the most current treatments to his patients. He has completed the highly regarded fellowship of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Prior to completing his graduate studies, Mr. Evans worked as a Registered Dietitian for Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Major accomplishments included the design and hospital-wide implementation of the Diet Order Entry System and being the Head Dietitian of the Detroit Lions Football Organization. Mr. Evans was also honored to be only the second Dietitian to join the honorable Nutrition Support Team.
Most recently Mr. Evans was elected by his peers as President of the Michigan Dermatology Physician Assistants organization. It has been exciting to see the growth of Dermatology Physician Assistants in the great state of Michigan over the past twenty years, and he is excited to lead his esteemed colleagues into the next decade.
Mr. Evans serves on Advisory Boards and Speakers Bureaus for several pharmaceutical companies. Those include AbbVie, UCB, Novartis, Lilly, Ortho-Dermatologics, Sanofi Genzyme, Janssen, Medicis and Galderma.
Personal interests include farming, hunting, coaching and golf. Of note, Mr. Evans is the fifth generation owner of his family’s centennial farm in Tipton, Michigan. He manages two centennial farms with his parents and is the founder of Evans Farms, LLC.
Mr. Evans resides in Washington, Michigan with his proudest accomplishment – his family.
